1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the "Django SaaS Boilerplate" ("Product"), a digital Django-based SaaS boilerplate/template sold by George (@georgedevz) ("we", "us", or "our"). The Product is provided as source code/files for you to use in building your own applications.

By purchasing, downloading, or using the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Product.

2. Description of the Product

The Product is a pre-built Django SaaS boilerplate including features such as user authentication, payment integration (e.g., Stripe), styling (e.g., Tailwind), and other common SaaS components. It is sold as a one-time digital download for personal or commercial use in creating your own applications.

3. License Grant

Upon full payment and subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, revocable license to:

• Use, modify, and integrate the Product into your own projects or applications.
• Deploy unlimited instances of applications built using the Product for personal or commercial purposes.

You may sell or distribute applications you build with the Product, provided you add substantial original value and do not resell or redistribute the raw Product (or substantial portions of it) as a standalone boilerplate/template.

4. Restrictions and Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from:

• Reselling, redistributing, sharing, leasing, sublicensing, or otherwise making the raw Product (or any significant part of it) available to third parties as a boilerplate, template, or downloadable product.
• Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notices, attributions, or proprietary markings in the Product.
• Using the Product to create a competing boilerplate, template, or SaaS starter kit.
• Using the Product for any illegal, unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to malware, spam, gambling, adult content (if restricted by law), or violation of third-party terms (e.g., Stripe).
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Product to extract code for competing products.

Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of your license, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

5. Refund Policy – 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the Product. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting us at georgedjangodev@gmail.com.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Due to the digital nature of the Product, refund requests may require confirmation that the Product has not been distributed, shared, or used commercially beyond personal evaluation. We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of abuse, such as multiple purchases/refunds or violation of these Terms.

No refunds will be issued after 30 days, for partial use, or if these Terms have been breached.

6. Intellectual Property Ownership

We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Product, including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights. The Product is licensed, not sold. You receive no ownership rights beyond the license granted above.

You must retain all original copyright notices in the code. Any modifications you make remain subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and No Warranties

THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE PRODUCT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

We do not guarantee compatibility with future versions of Django, third-party services (e.g., Stripe, databases), or any specific environment. You use the Product at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Termination

We may terminate your license immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Product and delete/destroy all copies. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
